Caisy in the Woods

I came across the great work of Mat from Caisy in the Woods recently. 
He has planted more than 600 000 trees across British Columbia and Alberta. 
On May 7, he planted one in my name. 
It's awesome to think it will never be cut and here long after I've left Canada.

Seattle Sculpture Park & Pavilion

While at the sculpture park I was lucky enough to see three artists working away on this wall mural in the Pavilion. There was a film crew there too hoping to create a short video for the museums website.

A lunchbreak stroll

For the last couple of days it's been beautiful and sunny here, so I made sure to get out for a walk at lunch today. I'm lucky that I walk 2 min and I'm right on the water with North Vancouver & the mountains in the background.

We've woken up to snow twice this week. It melts by lunch time but it sure is pretty. Here are some photos from our flat and my walk to work.

Erik and I had a whirlwind trip to LA where we stayed in a b&b near Venice beach.

It was nice to get a weekend of sunshine, blue skies and warm sunsets. Apart from

spending quality time in traffic and at a storage unit, we wondered the around the

area and ate at some of Erik's old favourites; the highlight being the orange peel

soy chicken.
