Caisy in the Woods

I came across the great work of Mat from Caisy in the Woods recently
He has planted more than 600 000 trees across British Columbia and Alberta.
On May 7, he planted one in my name.
It's awesome to think it will never be cut and here long after I've left Canada.

You can also have a tree planted in your name here

Where I Rest

I have always been a big fan of Audrey Kawasaki, so you can only imagine how excited I was to open my birthday gift
from my beau to find this beautiful print. Thank you Erik!

The not so invisible mother

While looking for some inspiration I came across this strange photographs where the mother tried to hold their kids still for the photographer. Not sure how successful they were in hiding themselves.

Embroidered Toast

While gathering inspiration for embroidery, I came across the work of Judith Klausner and her embroidered toast. She also works with orea cookies to create some cute little pieces. First seen on Don't Panic, but also check out more of her work here.

Feist

I went and saw Feist play at the Centre for performing arts in Vancouver with my beau and loved it. If you have a chance to see her on this tour, I highly recommend it. It was mainly her new album but I was glad to hear one of my favourites, 'My Moon my Man'.

We also had a treat of hearing her back up singers, Mountain Men, do a sweet piece called "How'm I Doin".
